Who
should attend?
Anyone
interested in geospatial technology in Maine, including K-12
teachers, informal educators, and faculty in both private and public
institutions of higher education. This is a great chance to hone your
skills and to meet and share ideas with other Maine educators.
College and high school students can also gain key career skills and
meet GIS professionals.
The 2010
conference featured K12 and higher education tracks!
Just getting
started with GIS? The K12 track has some great choices for beginners,
and K12 teachers attend free.
We've grown! We've
outgrown our previous venue, so this year's conference was be in the
Augusta Civic Center. Thanks to KVCC for generously hosting us in years
1 & 2.

Conference
fee:
$35
for registration received on or before November 14th/ $40
for late registration (K12 teachers attend free!). The Holiday Inn
Augusta Civic Center is providing lodging for conference attendees at a
special rate of $70 per night. You may reserve and pay for your room
via conference registration using the space provided on the

streaming of conference sessions:
We will
be streaming the conference sessions live via Adobe Connect, and they
will be available for later viewing. To access the videos and materials
here.
Participants
may bring up to three posters each (48” x 48” or smaller) to share at the
lunchtime poster session. We will also have tables for display
materials. Posters may
highlight programs, projects and student work. We will also have tables
for displays and handouts. If
you'd like to bring posters and/or display materials, please indicate
that on your registration form in the space required.
